Walk an Eastmont Street
A street-by-street search starts with land, not a list of households. Snohomish County assigns each parcel a stable number and a physical, or situs, address. The assessor record can display an owner or taxpayer, but that party may not live there. A deed documents a recorded transfer, while directories and dated news may supply evidence of occupancy. Keep those roles separate in the Eastmont street directory.
- Confirm the delivery form through USPS, then search the county's situs address in the Assessor Public Access system.
- Save each parcel number, legal description, owner or taxpayer display, and the separate mailing address.
- Open SCOPI, turn on house and parcel labels, and click the lots along the same street segment.
- Use the first ten parcel digits, party name, or legal description in the Auditor's deed index.
- Check only lawful voter-file access and dated directories when the question concerns residents rather than title.
This sequence works when a postal city differs from the community name. It also reduces same-address errors. If one map point carries several parcels, each parcel must be checked before the search moves to deeds or permits.
Search Eastmont Addresses Precisely
The Snohomish County property search accepts either a parcel number or property street address. A real-property parcel uses 14 digits. The county suggests a plain street name, a full address, or a wildcard such as 123*. When an exact query fails, spell out the street name, remove its type or direction, and enter less text.
| Search control | Input | Save from the result |
|---|---|---|
| Parcel number | 14 digits for real property | Parcel ID and matching account |
| Street address | Street name, full address, or wildcard | All candidate situs addresses |
| Result summary | Open the matched account | Owner, taxpayer, mailing address, legal description, values, tax code, sales and structure details |
The county's assessor interface below is the main text-search entry for Eastmont parcels.
The screen's single field makes query form important. Save all plausible matches before narrowing, especially when the road has directional parts or several similar house numbers.
The mailing address is where notices go. It is not the Eastmont parcel's physical address. Likewise, an assessed value or tax status has a date and does not replace the recorded deed as evidence of title. The result can also expose sales, tax, acreage, use-code, exemption, and structure details when available. Those fields describe the parcel account, not a list of people inside the building.
Eastmont Street Record Coverage
No single roll answers every address question. The Eastmont street directory works best when each source is used for the fact it was built to keep. County portals support parcel, map, deed, and project research. Historical collections supply dated occupant clues.
| Record Set | Keeper | What It Shows | Access |
|---|---|---|---|
| Parcel and tax summary | Snohomish County Assessor | Owner or taxpayer, situs and mailing addresses, legal description, values | Public Access, office, or phone |
| Parcel map | County GIS | Lot boundaries, house labels, nearby parcels, imagery | SCOPI public viewer |
| Recorded instruments | Auditor Recording Division | Parties, dates, liens, plats, deed and legal-description trail | Online from July 1976; older microfilm, mail, phone, or counter |
| Permit and code file | Planning and Development Services | Projects, inspections, status, address or parcel links | Project Status, records portal, or focused request |
| Historic directory | Libraries and State Library | Dated occupant and address clues | Branch, card, or appointment access |
The parcel number links assessor, tax, GIS, permits, and recorded documents even when the street text changes. A legal description, which identifies land by subdivision, block, lot, survey, or bounds, is often the soundest bridge into an older deed.
Note: A directory occupant, assessment party, and deed grantee can be three different people, so record each role and date separately.
Map Eastmont Streets in SCOPI
The SCOPI Interactive Map adds the spatial view that a text result lacks. Pan along the road, click each lot, and compare the Parcel ID, Property Address, and Owner shown in the basic panel. The result list can add taxpayer, gross acres, market value, and tax-code area. Its Property Account Summary leads to sales, tax history, legal description, and structure details.
The county map image below shows the public entry point used to browse an Eastmont street by address.
The viewer's parcel and house-number labels help keep adjacent sites distinct. If it displays “Multiple Parcels (Click for Info),” open every listed parcel. Aerial layers from several years can show physical change, but they cannot establish who lived in a structure.
Eastmont Street Directory Terms
County land records use a few short terms with exact meanings. Reading them correctly prevents a street directory result from turning into an unsupported claim about a household.
- Parcel
- A county-tracked unit of land with its own identifier.
- Situs address
- The physical property address, which can differ from the owner's mailing address.
- Plat
- A recorded map that divides land into lots, blocks, roads, or easements.
- Criss-cross directory
- A directory arranged by street or address rather than only by surname.
A parcel number usually survives changes in how an address is written. A legal description is stronger still for matching an old transfer to today's mapped site.
Link Eastmont Parcels to Deeds
The Search Recorded Documents page supports searches by name, document type, recording number, date, the first ten parcel digits, book and page, or legal description. A grantor is the party transferring an interest. A grantee receives it. Follow those roles and the same land description from one instrument to the next.
Most recorded documents from July 1976 forward are online. The current web search requires a free account. Before that cutoff, contact the Recording Division, use the customer-center microfilm and terminals, or send the official copy form by mail. Phone and in-person requests are also available. Unofficial images can be downloaded, while certified or non-watermarked copies require payment.
The Recording Division overview shown here identifies the official office and its access routes.
The overview remains useful when the document search is unavailable or an index entry does not include the needed image. Ask for the exact instrument rather than asking staff to identify who lives on a street.
The Recording Division is at 3000 Rockefeller Avenue in Everett and can be reached at 425-388-3483. County guidance cites $1 per page and possible staff-search time of $8 per hour for substantial or older work, but the active total should be confirmed before ordering.
A recorded-document notification can alert a subscriber when a name or parcel appears in a new filing. It is a monitoring tool, not a complete historical search. For old work, preserve each ARN, which is the Auditor's recording number, plus book and page. Those identifiers are more precise than retyping a party name and help staff retrieve a copy through mail, phone, or the counter.
Eastmont Permits by Address
Because Eastmont is unincorporated, Snohomish County Planning and Development Services keeps the main public project trail. The Project Status search accepts a project number, parcel ID, or address and advertises current and historical permit research. Search both the situs address and parcel number. One may find a project that the other misses.
The public permit-search screen is shown below.
Active code cases use the county map route, while completed notes go through the PDS Records Portal. A project record may identify a contact or responsible party, but it does not prove ownership or list every resident. The improved account-based Permit Portal launched in December 2024, yet Project Status remains the public research route.
Normalize an Eastmont Street Address
Eastmont has no city clerk because it is a census-designated place in unincorporated Snohomish County. USPS delivery lines can use Everett or Snohomish even when the site falls within Eastmont census geography. Verify a complete delivery address through the USPS ZIP Code Lookup, then return to the county's situs address and parcel.
No official Eastmont-wide street renumbering year was found. That gap matters. When an old road label fails, compare the parcel ID, legal description, subdivision, block, lot, historic map, and dated directory entry. The present Eastmont CDP formed in 2010 from Seattle Hill-Silver Firs, so older sources may use that predecessor label.
Voter Records Are Not Street Search
VoteWA lets a person register or update their own record. It is not an open address search for Eastmont residents. Washington's formal public-file route is the Secretary of State's voter database extract request. That file can include permitted residence, precinct, district, status, and participation fields, but a requester must certify the allowed use.
Protected voters can have actual address and related location fields withheld. Snohomish County's 2026 voter-data form directs requests to the state instead of releasing the data through the county form. The Eastmont street directory must therefore treat voter evidence as restricted and dated, never as a live roster of everyone on a road.
Note: Washington registration records do not show ballot choices, and the ordinary extract omits full birth dates and identity numbers.
Past Eastmont Streets Need Directories
Property records establish land and title roles. To look for a dated occupant, use county directory volumes, newspapers, census schedules, and archives. The Washington State Library lists discontinuous Snohomish County directory runs from 1882 through 2005, not a complete annual Eastmont criss-cross series. The full shelf and abbreviation method belong on the Eastmont city directory page.
A directory entry can include a spouse, street address, work clue, or symbols for householder and boarder. It is still evidence for one publication year, not present-day proof. Search Everett, Snohomish, Seattle Hill, Silver Firs, and road or subdivision names when the modern Eastmont label produces no result.
Eastmont Street Directory Limits
A public parcel page cannot identify every adult, child, guest, or occupant at an address. Utility customer and delivery records are not public resident rolls. Motor-vehicle addresses are restricted by federal law. A permit party, voter entry, business filing, or court reference may also be old or belong to someone with the same name.
Use the Eastmont street directory for property curiosity, genealogy, a deed trail, or another lawful personal purpose. Date every finding and verify it with the custodian that created the record. Do not publish a street roster assembled from sources that carry use restrictions.
Lawful use. Eastmont address records may be used for lawful personal research. Never use them to stalk, harass, threaten, or harm anyone.
